All students who wish to attend CHS are required to take the CHS Placement Test. The STS High School Placement Test (HSPT) assesses cognitive abilities, both verbal and non-verbal, and basic skills including reading, mathematics and language arts.
Middle School academic information from the student's current school will be used, along with the Placement Test results, to determine academic placement in the CHS academic program.

For students planning to take the Placement Test
Students are not required to pre-register for the CHS Placement Test. Students should bring with them to the test the completed CHS Placement Test Registration form (available below). There is a $20 test fee, payable by cash or check made payable to Pensacola Catholic High School. Test takers should arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the test and bring two #2 pencils, the $20 test fee and the completed CHS Placement Test Registration form.
